We very gratefully acknowledge third-party funding for the research conducted at SNQS – it supports a lot of talented postdocs, grad and undergraduate students and creates an environment that makes science enjoyable for all of us!





Our funding sources include the German Science Foundation (DFG) via various individual projects and we are proud members of the DFG Excellence Clusters (MCQST) and e-conversion. Other major research efforts include the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the European Union (EU) via Horizon 2020 and the Quantum Flagship, the Bavarian Science Ministry (ExQM), the Max-Planck-Society (IMPRS), the International Graduate school of Science and Engineering (IGSSE), the TUM Institute of Advanced Study (TUM-IAS) and various industrial partners. We were delighted that Gregor Koblmüller was successful in his application for the prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant.
