Seminars on energy conversion
Conversion of renewable energy into storable fuels is a promising approach to overcome the current reliance of fossil fuels and to satisfy the increasing energy demands in the future. In different seminars, students will discuss the most recent research efforts in the broader field of renewable energy conversion ranging from different energy conversion approaches, novel device design concepts, to fundamental device properties. Possible topics focus on economic viability, development of new materials, as well as fundamental understanding of material properties and conversion processes under operation conditions.
