Semiconductor Nanowires

Semiconductor nanowires will play an important role in several areas of nanotechnology, such as electronics, sensing, and energy conversion. The III-V Semiconductor Materials Group, the Hybrid Nanosystems - Nanoscale Optoelectronics Group, and the Nanostructure Photonics Group at the Walter Schottky Institut are involved in the coordinated efforts to study the fundamental properties of these novel nanostructures.
