Walter Schottky Institut Logo

The outer shape of the logo represents a wafer with its flat side at the bottom. The different layers indicate heterostructures, multi-quantum wells, or graded superlattices. The triangular structure at the top indicates a scanning tip such as an AFM or an optical fiber tip.
